Joshua McLean
Joshua McLean lives in Christchurch. He is currently a permanent Application Specialist at Trimble Navigation Limited where he also manages the interns..
Josh studied Surveying at the University of Otago from 2006 – 2008 and the first half of 2010. During 2009, he worked at Trimble as an intern.
Josh has had a hearing loss in both ears since he was 2 years old due to meningitis and was fitted with a cochlear implant at the age of 5. Until then he wore a hearing aid in one ear.
Joshua went to mainstream schools in Christchurch and attended correspondence school while living in the Philippines for 3 years from 1998 to 2000. He has enjoyed many achievements in sports, programming, maths, school and university.
Joshua enjoys doing many different sports such as soccer, table tennis, tennis, running, biking, disc golf and spear fishing. He is a self described computer geek and is currently creating a multiplayer flash game as a hobby.
