  • Selected for the Olympic News Service during the Sydney 2000 Olympics, as a reporter to cover the Beach Volleyball at the Olympics.
  • Lived and worked in England and Scotland for one year in 1998 at the age of 18, working as a housemistress and assistant teacher in a preparatory school in Edinburgh, and as a sales assistant in a clothes shop in London, and traveled to New York
  • Traveled through Europe and the UK in a campervan for 8 months in 2004/05
  • After selling the campervan, traveled to India, China, Vietnam, Thailand in 2005
  • Started investing in the share market in 2006
  • Bought her first property in Sydney at age 26, and was profiled in Your Investment Property magazine as a young investment property owner
