- Lived and worked in England and Scotland for one year in 1998 at the age of 18, working as a housemistress and assistant teacher in a preparatory school in Edinburgh, and as a sales assistant in a clothes shop in London, and traveled to New York
- Traveled through Europe and the UK in a campervan for 8 months in 2004/05
- After selling the campervan, traveled to India, China, Vietnam, Thailand in 2005

- Bought her first property in Sydney at age 26, and was profiled in Your Investment Property magazine as a young investment property owner
