Olivia Gemmell ~ Biography
Olivia was diagnosed as profoundly deaf at 8 months. Specialist doctors told her parents that she would never speak or go to a mainstream school. Her parents enrolled her immediately at The Shepherd Centre which runs an early intervention program for deaf children. She has two brothers and a sister, all of whom are hearing.
At 28 years of age, Olivia is motivated to help young deaf people achieve anything they want in life and to replace their future uncertainty with faith. It is for this reason she started Hear For You.
Her motto is that with the right attitude, anything is possible.
