The Carnegie Foundation
The Carnegie Foundation has been operating since 2001 and is the charitable trust of Mark and Tanya Carnegie and their three daughters.
One of the Foundation’s principal activities is the provision of funding and business support to the Matilda Rose Early Intervention Centre, which provides intensive and co-ordinated therapies to children with hearing impairment coupled with additional disabilities.
In a natural progression, the Foundation became the principal funder and 2008 launch partner of Hear For You.
Cochlear Foundation
The Cochlear Foundation aims to operate for the benefit of the whole community in the areas of implantable technologies for the hearing impaired. The Foundation’s principal objective is to address community health issues by supporting longer term programs which:
- aim to raise awareness of (both amongst the medical profession and the community at large); and/or
- promote research into and the publication of findings with regard to the use of implantable technologies for the hearing impaired.
Cochlear Foundation have generously provided
Hear For You with funding to be spread over the next two years commencing in July 2009.
