Workshop times: 10:30am – 3:30pm
The table above shows the planned delivery of our program in 2011. Please note that there will be a four week gap between workshops, allowing time for a break and E-Mentoring. The "Meet & Greet" session and workshops are spread over two school terms (Terms 1 and 2).
The Parents Session will be run in conjunction with the final workshop (1:30 - 3:30pm).
Location
The Sydney programs are held at Inspire Foundation, The Shepherd Centre and The University of Sydney. Attending the careers workshops within the university ground is of great experience and benefit for teenagers, especially for those who are preparing themselves for possible university courses and considering future goals for after school.
The Perth program is held at Telethon Speech & Hearing Centre.
Cost
As a result of funding, we are able to offer our series of workshops to participants with hearing impairment who attend the Hear For You program at no cost.
However, due to funding guidelines, there will be a conditional refundable deposit of $250.00 which you will need to pay prior to the commencement of the program.
Should the participant fail to attend any of the workshops, there will be no refunds available at the end of the program. This is to ensure commitment from each participant as numbers are limited.
